As of right now, the latest release related to my online project, Tails of Rootton High:

It's available as a wallpaper (in five convenient sizes) from here, and as a huge (35" x 23") poster from here.

The lineart for these guys seems to be getting pretty solid, and you've got the expressions portraying themselves pretty effectively.  Good use of flashy colour to make it more poster-esque.

Do you draw these guys with a tablet?

Actually, as of right now I draw them with a mechanical pencil, scan them in and do a lot of manual clean-up work afterward. I do have a tablet, but I didn't pull it out for this piece. I imagine there's probably a lot I could do to speed up my work flow; working that out is a matter of experimentation, I suppose.

Since this was for print, I scanned at a higher-than-usual resolution; when I scan for animation, I usually use a lower resolution to make clean-up a bit faster.

Hehe, looks pretty cool. I recommend working on the form of each of the rockers, as opposed to having them have circular heads. But I love the name. Living room rockers. Clever, hah!

Good piece! Though It'd be better if they were playing Rock Band (1/2).

Since I'm selling a poster of this, I tried not to suggest any one particular music game with the instrument designs (I drew them mostly without reference materials). The two big band games both have pretty broad support for the different instruments, though, so they could (hypothetically) be playing either.

The circular heads are just how I draw these characters, being part of the style I've developed.

Hehe actually only guitar hero uses circular frets so judging by the circular shapes they're playing guitar hero and not rock band, but I see where you're coming from. Hehe.  Cheesy
