Just a quick poll.  Vote as you see fit up to 2 votes.

Seems like every female furry is snapped up pretty quick, so curious to see how many girls vs guys are single in the furry fandom & whether sexuality changes the number.

Note: For gender, pick whatever one you see yourself as when dating ppl

I may have only just "Joined" our Furry Ranks, but i have been browsing through forums for almost a year now, and the Female Furry is a very Rare find indeed. so i would have to think its mainly a percentile based thing, tons of males + few females = Female Shortage (heh, thats just what it seems like to me) But it seems in Rl, its almost as hard to find the "right one" and/or "anyone!" but perhaps thats just me doomed to a lonely existence...
P.S. Probably should have put this in!

I'm single, also Bisexual but only online pretty much.

I really wish i could make good friends with a single girl my age who is a furry and let things grow from there.

But it's likely it won't happen >=

To be brutally honest, I'm a bi, not for the "hole's-a-hole" mentality, but the fact that I'm really attracted to a person for who they are, not for a dangly (or lack thereof) piece of flesh.

How about that.

Once again,
Could we EVER have one of these polls that doesn't play into old stereotypes about binary gender, and which actually treats bisexuality as a bona-fide sexual orientation, rather than just an extension of, or stepping stone to gay?  If I had a dime for every time I've heard someone opine that bisexuality doesn't exist: that it's either straight people swinging and playing around, or it's a journey out of the gay closet...  I get really tired of so many folks having this need to put everyone into boxes that they don't fit into.  Likewise the idea of 'free' vs. 'taken'.  Anyone, who has been paying attention to the way relationship trends in the fandom are going these days would not fail to take note that polygamy and poly-amory are becoming more and more popular.  (just for a few examples)
And to be perfectly blunt, in my years in the fandom, the shelf-life of most furry 'mateships' I've seen tends to be measured in weeks, days, or even hours.  The average furry 'mateship' lasts until one of the parties spots something something shinier.
Likewise, I've seen quite a few furry 'mateships' that were really nothing more than someone wanting a sugar daddy.

Wotan, I can only have so many options on the poll, it seemed too many already. I'm aware you can be Bi without turing gay or straight in the end justas I'm aware how hard polls like this are for trans folk. And really, its for the voter to pick what they feel fits them at the time of voting. Like I picked Guy/Single/BiGay when techinally I'm a bisexual FTM trans who has "friends with benefits".  Its all in one's head how they vote, its just a silly lil' poll after all.

Oh yeah i figured out what that term "cruising" means, it's named after those pathetic jobless people with a ludder car that do so badly getting a date with any person their age (because once people grow out of their teenager years they really get wise especially girls)
So they go and cruise by Schools trying to get a pickup from Gullible school girls.

Yeah tis pathetic, Wish i could shoot them >:3

Well, Furry wise i really wouldn't know  about this, but honestly it seems like this is exactly what happens in RL, i am still in High School and this type of thing always happens, no-one ever goes "out" with the person whom is right for them, or rather they dont try to find mr./mrs. right, for most guys my age its like ooooh boobies, as for a female perspective i have no idea what they are looking for except that it does not seem to be me! BEWBIES! lol uhh their furry boobs okay? yeah fur hides all right?

To partial quote you just edit the text in between the codes, it's pretty simple.
Yeah i noticed that in highschools too, Girls basically want a bf because it's trendy but they easily get bored with them and breakup afterwards.
teenagers in general suck at maintaining a relationship because they get together with someone they barely know, they just go for someone because of looks generally.

a situation were a good relationship happens is if the bf and gf happen to be good friends and it built naturally into affection.

Ya, that seems to be what happens, and it makes it quite hard for the few of us that have any sort of a base line maturity level.  I have been looking for a female friend for quite a wile and just when i seem to be to the point of asking they usually go out with some big dumb oaf and do that for about a month then they breakup so the girl seems to find the person at the lowest in teenage standing and goes out with them.  Its then i realize that i really have no hope of finding a person who is looking for either  a serious friendship or relationship...dont know about anyone else my age here but...ya...

Rawr yah, my feelings and thoughts exactly, all Girls IRL have been immature and shallow in my experience for the most part, mature people are few and far between.

whether you are a boy or girl you can easily find someone with similar interests and standard of maturity on the internet who is of the opposite gender, but the problem comes from the fact their usually very very far away, and if you did get together online, you would need to make sure not to get too carried away or infatuated, because Online relationships often run into difficulties and problems, and you gotta be prepared to let go if it happens.

I'm bi(not for sexual reasons...), male, having a girlfriend... I'm a closet bi(but she knows), the reason why I keep it secret is because when you're known as bi you're known as gay... girls would just not act the same as with a straight guy... it kinda sucks...
