Hello, I'm Kyvr (that's pronounced "Kh-veer"), and for almost a decade I have been a dedicated lurker of the furry community. I have recently decided to get more involved.
At first I was pretty pessimistic if any furs existed north of the border (at least outside of mega-Toronto) but behold! I find this place. I hope to make some good friends here, but at the very least interact with people with similar interests as mine.
I am a homosexual (somewhat still in the closet) lion, who works a night job at an office, with two useless degrees in the English Literature and Theology. I was born and raised in Canada, in the rural areas of Ontario, and have been living in London for over 5 years. My interests include totem animals (I have three!), philosophy (I'm a absolutist!), roleplaying (WOD all the way) supernatural and occult stuff (mostly ghosts), religion (although I don't go to any church), and sleep Tongue. I also have a undeniable curse: I actually care about politics.
I love to debate (in a friendly way), and I have to warn you that sometimes I do take on the role as the "Devil's Advocate"- the guy who presents the point of view that no one likes or considers. When I do this I will always announce that I'm being the "Advocate." I do this because, while I might actually believe in the argument being presented, I believe the other side (no matter how repulsive) should be considered because it makes the true argument stronger to consider its opponents.
And just in case you didn't notice, I like to talk  Smiley
Here's hoping I make some good friends  Cheesy

Hi Kyvr... Welcome to the forums! Hope you like it here.
I agree with Shugo, lions are indeed awesome! ;3

I also have a undeniable curse: I actually care about politics.
Oh my! I worked as a journalist for only 2 months and I got that curse too -- and it lasted through 2001 and 2002, which made it even worse.
