Mm..
But what if a friend gave you something meaningful, and not materialistic? Is it a purchase-free christmas that you're striving for, or just a non-gift christmas in general?
Lovely idea, by the way. I've asked a few times before for nothing except meaningful cards or, if people so choose, something that they made. Makes you feel pretty solid.

Not really wishing for anything, but I can't wait to meet my family again! My Nephew got a Transformers chess set last year, and I taught him how to play it, he loves it! I like to encourage his inquisitive nature, and I'm looking forward to playing him again.

Either being with a group of friends and spending the night talking away, or being with my family members, who are far back in the South-East Asian country of Singapore.
I'd like to spend some time with the one person I like too (though it's pretty much a one way thing right now, and perhaps forever), but he'll be going down south to California to spend the holidays there n.n;
Oh well X3

A stable economy and lower unemployment.
Kinda sucks my paycheques dropped to the same size as the ones I got while working in the fast food industry :/ Enough to get me by comfortably while saving the other half for backup money. 10% unemployment is not helping me find work. Wages are ok, but there's too much competition.

Zephyron: If he isn't interested in YOU, of all people, then he's most certainly missing out on a very fine fellow. Here's hoping that you find some enjoyment spending time with him, and that all works out for the best, whichever way that will be. Shadow: 2. Try to stop smoking Good on you, mate.

Seph: Thanks, but really, I'm not that good of a guy n.n;;
*ponders*
I'm happy that both of us are the way that we are now though, kinda scared to take things further, since given our backgrounds (Asians + those strict traditional Asian parents. To make things more difficult, he's an only child. He's way more mature than I am though), the chance of things actually not working out, or at worst, falling apart, is not slim.
I'm not really willing to let that happen, since I don't wanna lose him as a friend, not especially after the last 7 years. He's a precious person to me, so I wouldn't wanna do anything to jeopardise our present friendship n.n;;
... Yeah, the past 7 years, I haven't asked him >_>;; *slumps* Pathetic isn't it? >_>;;
The way things are going right now though, I'm pretty content seeing how we manage to keep contact with one another, considering how busy the both of us get at times (He gets glued to the screen programming Supercomputers, I get glued to paper and pencil) n.n;
Was able to spend some clean quality time with him earlier this March as well, and was very happy. Its lucky actually, since I came to study here from Singapore, and by chance he moved from Idaho to study in Seattle. =3
It was then though, some things came into mind as well. I'm really uncertain, too, at present, whether I really wish for him to be someone I can call a mate. We've gotten along for the past 7 years online, but there're things that I'm not really certain about as of now in terms of the future when it comes to iRL stuffs. Maybe if, or after I get a license (Catch 22 is quite troublesome though, and so is the economic downturn) to work down here, and can land myself a stable job in the animation industry with a manageable income, will I further take things into consideration. I'd guess a relationship shouldn't be the top priority right now since there're other things to worry about, most especially to further lay down the foundation of our friendship. =)
*looks at above post*
I admit to being somewhat selfish and paranoid I guess >_>;
But well... I dunno n.n;;
*thinks*
For now though, spending time with friends, be it school or the local furry community, and getting to know them better would be something that's pleasant to do, and perhaps do a drawing or two for them iRL (I'm very inactive back in the hostel, geared more towards computer tweaking and maintenance n.n;) since this wuff here doesn't tend to talk much iRL and would rather stay in the background, he'd just let his simple drawings do the talking for him =3
*hides face under toque and hood and continues to ponder*
Oh well. Just 2 more weeks =3
*continues reading geeky stuffs*
