So they aren't that great, but It was the only materials I had laying around.

Each thing took at least 4 hours to sew by hand, except the tail, which took about 7-8 hours.

The tail has some wiring inside allowing me to form it to any shape I want. The tip of the tail and fingers/toes are made of a small bit of foam to keep them in the right shape. I never got around to sewing the leather pads. Each foot paw also has a flat foam piece on the inside.

A body was made also (Full suit would not include anything below the waist other then foot paws as it was intended to wear snow camo pants.) but the upper body came out a smidge too small and I never got around to ripping it apart and making it longer/wider.

I have a basic idea of what to do about making a head, but I doubt it'll come out any good so I'll stick to what I have untill I buy one.

Now for pics >.<

[Feet got kind of messed up Sad]

Hope you like it ^.^

(I'll maybe post of me wearing them.)

I really like the ears the best. It's a good job. I couldn't sew if my life dependent on it.

Goodness; it must have taken ages to hand-sew all of the black spots onto the tail.

Agreed; the ears do look quite solid; very symmetrical.

A good trick with sewing is to actually sew the objects inside-out, so that when you turn them the right way, the seams don't show up.  This generally keeps a smooth flow from one piece of material to the next.

Good on you for taking the initiative to make your own suit!  It takes time, but it's quite a rewarding experience.

Nice job;

Thanks a lot guys!

I worked really hard on everything and I agree that the ears came out the best.

The tail took the most time to make and was a pain in the tail ><

But once you finish something you get the best feeling!

Greetings, fellow snow leopard! I was very curious, did you sew on the spots separately? Also, do you find having a wired tail better than having one hang loose? I would wonder how one would sit with the wire...
Thank you for showing off your suit! It gives me ideas! Smiley

I just did a tail with a coat hanger in it for support.  It gives a much nicer shape and lets you turn the end up like it does with so many cat's tails. ^^
