Lots of options available in this one! I kinda snagged this one from Furtopia's polls, seeing as it's a rather complete list of sexuality options. Heterosexual means you're exclusively interested in the opposite sex. Bisexual means you swing either way, to whatever varying degrees. Homosexual means you're exclusively into those of the same sex as yourself, of course. Pansexual means just about anything's fair game, it's the person you want and gender has no implication. Asexual means that you're not at all interested in sexual activity. And autosexual refers to those that are strictly do-it-yourselfers. So what's your sexuality, as it pertains to your gender? It's always interesting to see how things stand on each individual bulletin board, it seems. Benjamin

I got no idea what the other ones mean o.o But me personally, I don't have a preference, but I also don't label myself as bi either.

An excellent effort. The one thing I do want to point out that gender isn't as covered in this as sex and sexuality is. Gender can be classified as a whole bunch of things too, but in this instance, I suppose physical sex is paramount. Male pansexual / omnisexual at your service. I won't get into the bigendered thing. It's more complex than this poll allows for. :3

Gender identity is a few polls combined, really. Heheh. At least for some. Maybe we'll go into that at another time, but I'm not all that adept on that particular topic, as it is. It's not as major a furry hot topic as sexuality is though. For the purposes of this poll, the only thing that really matters is what equipment you happen to have. Benjamin

Bravo for the clarification. Much appreciated. Oh hell, I'm no expert on it either, and I doubt anyone really knows every possibility, or even if every possibility has been defined as such so far. Yeah, it's a bunch of polls in one.

Female/heterosexual for me.
I like my penises. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good looking girl when I see one... right?

Quite so. There have been many resources that I've seen that imply that everyone is at least a little bisexual, even if they don't identify as such. The problem is it's all too often focusing on a sexual stance that we fail to separate sex from visual appreciation.

Yeah, that's alright. It tends to be a social norm to at least appreciate a more physically appealing person who may be of the gender that one's not sexually interested in. It's a simple matter of aesthetic and not necessarily a primal attraction. Am trying to phrase that diligently. Heheh. I'm a heterosexual male, myself. It's a bit of a rare thing in this fandom, or so it seems. I had tried the other team some time ago, and learned the soft way that it wasn't for me. While RPing same sex situations online can be amusing, it never worked all that well for me in the real world. At least I can say with the most utter confidence that I'm straight... Benjamin

Well, you did an excellent job of it, Benjamin.
All to often you'll end up with someone who believes that all of this complication is unnecessary and "omgz, boys is boys and girls is girls, boys supposed ta like girls, and girls supposed ta like boys! wtf wrong wit chu!?". Needless to say it's frustrating and annoying at the very least.
Everyone seems to have the same welcome awareness of alternate genders / sexualities / sexes here that definitely shows one of the many things that makes the furry fandom, or at least our own subset of the furry fandom, so awesome. ^_^

Male/homosexual.
Finding my sexual identity came rather late for me, however - I really couldn't put a label to it until age 16 or 17. (Billie Jean King's remarks about her own sexuality come to mind... I believe she said something to the effect of half of gay people knowing who they are by age 13, and she was in the other half.)

It's especially awkward for transgenders, 'cuz like... what do you say if you're a transgendered girl who likes boys? Are you Trans/Straight or Trans/Gay? Male lesbians? Oh gosh, it gets so complicated.
So yeah, this prolly keeps things simple. =P
I'm physically male, and I like boys. ^.^
I used to be pansexual, and in some sense I still am, but I'm really pretty clueless in bed with females despite the fact that I have no particular dislike of the female form or females themselves. Just not really sexually compatible, I guess!

I voted male-hetro, although quite often I feel more asexual than anything else. I'm still single, and it looks like I'll remain so for quite some time.

Ah yes, this age old question!
Well, being 17... anyone should know that im probly confused as all hell and, statisticaly, willing to hump a wall if need be... bloody perverts.
Frankly, i dont know, i am certanly atracted to females... sexual as well as mentaly, im not some jackass thats all about getting some. However, on the other hand, im certanly not repelled by males... i dont know, but hey, thankfully im 17 and dont really have to know.
On that note, i put down bi, because as far as i can tell, i am... you need to add a 'Hell if i know' option..

I suppose that might fall under 'Other!' ; ) Don't worry about it too hard, I didn't completely sort out my sexuality until I was about 23. So.. a year ago or so. And I'm still not completely convinced I'm done changing, so to speak. For some, sexuality is a little more fluid than it is for others. With some experimenting and some proper relationships, you'll figure out what you really want.

Male/Homo I went from hetero, to bi, to homo in about 4 months. I suppose I "discovered" my sexuality around mid 2006, and at that time I was confused to hell about the whole thing. I think I got the right one now though.

If I didn't know about the UC Davis survey results, I might be surprised by some of these figures. A quote from WikiFur: The survey confirmed several stereotypes while refuting others. Most respondents were male (81%), Caucasian (89%) and American (83%). However, only 18% reported owning one or more fursuits. Around half were in a relationship, and of those 76% were involved with another furry. The ratio of reported sexual orientation was 33% heterosexual, 26% homosexual, 37% bisexual and 8% "other". A link, if so desired: http://furry.wikia.com/wiki/News:UC_Davis_posts_furry_survey_results
